When we reinvented loopers in 2005 with the original JamMan, over 6 hours worth of material could be stored on a removable media card. Now, DigiTech has raised the bar with the new JamMan Solo Looper/Phrase Sampler with the ability to store 35 minutes of CD-quality loops in 99 internal memories as well as having an SD memory card expansion slot giving you the ability to store over 16 hours of material in an additional 99 slots.The JamMan Solo is designed for guitarists and bassists packing a full-featured looper in a compact form factor.The JamMan Solo features USB connectivity and will sync to DigiTech’s free JamManager software that organizes and saves your JamMan Solo’s loops to PC or Mac. I had been looking for something to record ideas on the fly (not having to always set up my recorder...in the studio), that can be worked with later. The up side of this is, I can easley add on other parts to the same idea.
There's lots of options in this little package...some of which I haven't explored yet.
For the price (especially on "Amazon"), its hard to beat.
P.S. A time saver!

This is a great pedal if you are using to loop or to record your guitar in a quick easy. Pretty simple to learn. Holds up to 35 minutes of data but if you get an SD card it will hold hours of material. I personally bought to record guitar duets with and it has been great for that. You can also download software for free from the Digitech site that will enable you to put your loops on the computer and then to disc (if you want). Highly recommended!
